Zoning Board of Adjustment

The purpose of the Board of Adjustment is to determine if public convenience and welfare will not be substantially or permanently injured by a requested variance of the Zoning Code. The Board of Adjustment may in any specific case after public notice and a public hearing and subject to appropriate conditions and safeguards, authorize special exceptions to the regulations of the Zoning Code. The Board of Adjustment consists of five members who are appointed by the City Council of the City of Dimmitt.
