Landfill Rates

The following rates are charged at the city landfill:

• Dimmitt residents – no charge except for tires.
• Unsecured load fee - $25.00

Contractors inside City and Castro County residents:

• Building debris - $36.00 per ton
• Railroad ties - $36.00 per ton
• Concrete, bricks - $7.00 per ton
• Fence – $36.00 per ton
• Asphalt, RAP, and stones - $7.00 per ton
• Shingles and pallets - $36.00 per ton
• Tree limbs - $36.00 per ton
• Cold mix - $0.35 per pound

Tires (paid by anyone disposing of tires)

• Passenger tires - $5.00
• Pass. tire w/rim - $10.00
• Truck tires - $8.00
• Trk tire w/rim - $28.00
• Tractor tires - $30.00
• Sprinkler tire - $10.00

Dirt

• Bought from landfill is $12.00 per yard, loaded

Animals

• Dead farm animals $25.00 each
• No charge for dogs and cats
• No charge to Veterinarian

Tree Stumps

• Greater than 12 inches in diameter - $67.00 per ton
• If customer will quarter the stumps - $33.50 per ton
